How we calculate the Top Vulnerable Products Insight and why might it be empty
How do we calculate this Insight?
Block 64 compares discovered software products to the National Vulnerabilities Database (NVD) to identify if there are vulnerabilities associated with the product. This comparison occurs nightly. Your “Top Vulnerable Products” are the products that have the highest count of vulnerabilities associated with them.
Why might this Insight be empty or missing data?
There are a few reasons why you may not be seeing data here. First, since we are comparing your installed software, you will need to be inventorying your endpoints with one of our discovery tools. This may mean deploying a discovery product or if you already have a product deployed, troubleshooting the existing installation with our support team to ensure data is populating.
Second, it is possible that none of your installations have vulnerabilities found in the NVD. In this case none of your products would be vulnerable.
