How we calculate the Estimated Annual Cost Insight and why might it be empty
How do we calculate this Insight?
When an integration is made between Block 64 and a service that provides SaaS licensing data, Block 64 will list your entitlements. Data can be enriched by our Software Library, which contains information on software costs and licensing models based on publicly available information. Your Estimated Annual Cost is potential cost of the entitlements based on the cost data found in our Software Library.
Why might this Insight be empty or missing data?
There are a few reasons why you may not have data populating in this section. First, you may not have provided Block 64 with access to any of these services. If you navigate to the “Integrations” section of the portal, you will be able to configure these connections.
If you have provided us access to a service, it may be that that service does not expose the relevant data sets to us and so we may not be able to calculate the Insight.
Finally, it may be the case that we do not have information on the unit cost for that product. In this case you can work with our success team to add in the missing information.
