How we calculate the Public Cloud Cost Change Insight and why might it be empty
How do we calculate this Insight?
Block 64 can connect into the management portal for public cloud providers. Costs associated with cloud consumption can be reviewed in the portal. Block 64 can read this information and aggregate it in our insights portal.
The “Public Cloud Cost Change” Insight is the difference between your previous months cloud spend, or “Total Cloud Cost”, and your current months cloud spend.
Why might this Insight be empty or missing data?
This data is gathered from your public cloud providers. This requires us to have access to your Azure or AWS environments. You will need to configure the integrations with these services. Some accounts may not have sufficient privileges and this may require troubleshooting.
