Linux/Unix/Solaris requirements

Linux systems:

• Access via SSH (Secure Shell) - TCP port 22
• Credentials that can access the following resources and commands (depending on your variant of Linux):
  • Files in /proc/ directory
  • lshw
  • free
  • dpkg-query
  • rpm
• A nice-to-have is access to dmidecode or sneep (if installed) but neither is required

Solaris systems:

• Credentials that can access the following resources for Solaris systems:
  • usr/sbin/psrinfo
  • /usr/sbin/prtconf
  • /usr/sbin/smbios
• A nice-to-have is access to eeprom or sneep (if installed) but neither is required
