Integrations : SaaS: HubSpot
Adding the HubSpot Integration and Its Associated Insights
Overview
The HubSpot connection in Block 64 enables secure, read-only access to user and account data across your organization's HubSpot environment. HubSpot is a leading CRM and inbound marketing platform. Block 64 integrates with your HubSpot account, watches the list of users and their status, and connects to the Product Library for the most recent pricing data available. Once connected, the data collected from this integration appears in the following Block 64 Insights report: Reports → IT Asset Management → SaaS → Usage – User activity data based on HubSpot users and their current status.
To set up this integration, you'll need:
A HubSpot account with Super Admin access to your organization's HubSpot portal.
The Admin Email address associated with your HubSpot Super Admin account. Block 64 uses this to initiate the delegated OAuth authorization flow with HubSpot.
Note: The Block 64 HubSpot integration uses read-only delegated permissions — it cannot create, modify, or delete users, contacts, or any other records in your HubSpot environment.
How to add this Integration
In the Block 64 Insights portal, navigate to Integrations → HubSpot.
Enter the Admin Email address associated with your HubSpot Super Admin account.
Ensure the Integration Connection toggle is set to Enabled.
Click Connect. You will be redirected to the official HubSpot authorization screen.
Review the permissions requested by Block 64 and click Allow to approve access. Required permissions include viewing users and their status within your HubSpot portal.
Once authorized, you will be redirected back to the Block 64 portal, where the HubSpot connection will be active, and data collection will begin on the next scheduled collection cycle.
Security & Privacy
All access is read-only. Block 64 cannot create, modify, delete, or export any records in your HubSpot environment. Only the data necessary to support user visibility is collected — including HubSpot user accounts and their status. No passwords, payment details, or billing records are accessed. Authentication is handled entirely through HubSpot's OAuth flow — no credentials are stored by Block 64. Data is handled in compliance with Block 64's Privacy Policy and HubSpot's Terms of Service. Permissions can be reviewed or revoked at any time in your HubSpot account under Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
Why is this Integration failing?
If the integration isn't working, it's usually because the OAuth authorization was not completed, has since been revoked within HubSpot, or the Admin Email entered does not belong to an account with Super Admin permissions. It may also fail if the connected HubSpot portal has been deactivated, or the user's admin access has changed. To resolve:
Confirm that the Admin Email entered belongs to an active HubSpot Super Admin account.
Check whether the OAuth authorization has been revoked in HubSpot under Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps — if Block 64 no longer appears, the connection will need to be re-established.
Ensure the HubSpot account has not been suspended, downgraded, or had its admin permissions changed since the integration was set up.
Re-enter the Admin Email in Block 64 and click Connect to restart the authorization flow.
How to remove this Integration
From Block 64: You can disable this integration temporarily by clicking on the Integration Connection toggle — this pauses data collection without deleting your saved credentials. To remove the integration entirely, click the Disconnect button.
Note: Disconnecting this integration will stop data flow, potentially impact reporting accuracy, and system insights.
To permanently delete all previously collected HubSpot data, use the Delete Data option — this action cannot be undone. From HubSpot: Sign in to your HubSpot Super Admin account. Navigate to Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps. Locate the Block 64 connection and click Uninstall to fully revoke access.
