Configuring proxy server settings for the BlockBox Virtual Appliance

The proxy feature is exclusively available for BlockBox, allowing the appliance to communicate with the combine.block64.com portal using a proxy.

Configuration Steps

To configure the Proxy Settings, follow these steps:

  1. Log In: Access the appliance's Web UI.

  2. Navigate: Go to Settings > Proxy Server Settings.

  3. Enter Details:

     

    • Proxy Server: Enter the IP address of your proxy server.

    • Domain, Login, and Password: Fill in these fields if applicable.

    • Port: If the proxy server uses a designated port, use the format [IP Address:Port] (e.g., 192.168.1.1:8080).

  4. Save Settings: Click the green checkbox under Actions to save your changes.

Additional Information for Proxy Settings

Ensure the customer's proxy server has the following outbound access enabled:

  • Destination URLs:

    • https://combine.block64.com

    • https://sublimation.block64.com

Note: A specific IP address cannot be provided as the Combine portal operates behind a load balancer with dynamic addressing.

  • Network Layer: Layer 4 (TCP)

  • Destination Port: 443

  • Protocol: TCP/HTTPS
