This report provides an in-depth analysis of cloud expenditures across major cloud providers, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. It enables users to monitor and optimize their cloud spending by offering key insights into total costs, cost trends, and service provider breakdowns.

What This Report Shows 

The report presents critical financial metrics related to cloud usage, helping businesses track and manage their expenditures effectively. Key insights include: 

  • Total Cloud Cost – A consolidated view of the total cloud spending across all service providers. 
     
  • Cost Changes – A trend analysis showing increases or decreases in cloud costs over the past 12 months
     
  • Dashboard View – A graphical representation of subscriptions, their associated costs, and a comparison to the previous year’s spending. 
     
  • All Service Providers – A detailed breakdown of all hired services per provider, categorized by service type, category, last twelve months (LTM) cost, and LTM cost changes

The data used in this report is sourced directly from Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud billing APIs. Key calculations include: 

  • Total Cloud Cost – Aggregation of billing data from all cloud providers. 
  • Cost Changes – Computed by comparing the current month's spending with the corresponding month from the previous year. 
  • Dashboard Data – Derived by consolidating all active cloud subscriptions and their respective costs, providing an at-a-glance view. 
  • Service Provider Breakdown – Categorized based on cloud service metadata, associating each service with its cost trends and long-term spending patterns.
